So this is what killing time feels like
it's a holiday today..so what am i doing here in the office? not that i'm complaining; contrary to that, i think this holiday OT thing helps me get my mind off "THE ISSUE". still, i couldn't help but wish that things were different; i wish we were together sharing this day...kahit pa kumain lang kami ng isaw sa UP (teka...i don't eat isaw pala..cge, bbq na lang) or pasyal kami sa manila zoo or luneta. i'm not hard to please you know..but still, here i go again, expecting too much. kakabasa ko lang kanin nito, tapos heto na naman ako..i'm becoming impatient and wanting to take things into my own hands again...
just want to share you this verse, i hope it makes a difference and enlighten anyone who reads it:
"2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
3 knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 ΒΆ If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering: for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways."
- James 1:2-8
Ho hum...maybe i'm just becoming very sentimental again coz i'm killing time here at the office...i've been waiting for my project mate to arrive (for more than an hour already! hmp) and when i get sentimental, my paranoias go into overdrive. darn it. may sayad nga ako sa ulo...tsk tsk Anyway...Happy Edsa Day commemoration everyone!
